Katt’s engrossing tale successfully draws the reader into an unconventional world with which he/she may not be familiar, but the compelling nature of her storytelling ultimately proves powerful enough to overcome any initial doubts or skepticism. Perhaps the only drawback to Katt’s alluring narrative is a lack of comprehensive editorial treatment, which would further strengthen what is already a solid story rife with vivid characters and an intriguing central plotline; nonetheless, A Matter Of Trust is a promising new offering from an imaginative literary talent with a host of interesting tales to share.
