| Restaurant Grand Openings To Support Home Sweet Home(New Stonefire Grill in Thousand Oaks To Hold 2 Fundraisers for Habitat For Humanity of Ventura County April 10 & 11)
By: Frank Groff Inc. “In addition to being a fundraiser and volunteer drive, we hope that our grand opening festivities help raise awareness for Habitat for Humanity and their mission of providing housing for those in need – even those in our own backyard,” said Stonefire Grill founder and owner, Mary Harrigan, who owns the restaurants with her sister Maureen. “Our tip-matching program has proven successful in our other fundraising endeavors and we hope that it will be just as winning at this grand opening.” Recently hailed by the “CBS Evening News” for its successful approach to family style dining, Stonefire Grill will open its seventh and latest location in the Evergreen Plaza. Heathcote & Associates oversaw the transformation of the site that used to be a Marie Calendar’s and West End Design Group of Encino oversaw the indoor dining space and patio while Bottenfield Construction orchestrated the transformation. Stonefire Grills are known for their expansive, value-oriented menu of high-quality American fare. Items include mesquite grilled tri-tip, barbecue and lemon-garlic chicken, baby-back ribs, and a wide assortment of salads, pizzas and pastas as well as a dizzying array of desserts including a huge brick of homemade carrot cake to round out the menu. Menu items are priced from $4.99 to $19.99; complete family-style dinners start at $19.99. A selection of well-priced wine and beer also is available. All menu items are available “to-go” and each restaurant is even designed with a special entrance dedicated to take-out orders. This has proven especially popular among busy, working mothers who are finding it increasingly difficult to prepare good, wholesome satisfying meals for their families. The Stonefire Grill also boasts a bustling catering division, which has earned rave reviews including one from TV’s Style Network that gave it a thumbs-up for “catering a scrumptious meal on a budget.” The new Stonefire Grill will join sister locations in Chatsworth, West Hills, Valencia, Fountain Valley, Pasadena and Irvine.
