Tachyon Solutions wins Shopping Standard of Excellence award in the 13th annual Web Marketing Association WebAward competition for outstanding web site development for www.marcusuniforms.com.

More than 2,000 sites from 45 countries were adjudicated in 96 industry categories during this year's competition.  Entries were judged on top web site design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology.

The WebAwards’ competition was judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of Web site development. Judges included members of the media, advertising executives, web site designers, creative directors, corporate marketing executives, content providers and webmasters.

The award was received for Marcus Uniforms e-commerce site, http://www.marcusuniforms.com. Marcus Uniforms has been selling scrubs, shoes, medical accessories, school uniforms and workwear through its retail store and catalog since 1960. www.marcusuniforms.com was developed to provide advanced online ordering and account management capabilities to their existing customers and to expand their customer base. The site has been a great success by all measurements.
