| M-Corp AI Unveils Offline "Child Safety AI Necklace" Prototype to Empower Refugee Self-RelianceHumanitarian AI project presents a 54 KB, internet-free prototype protecting children with disabilities and advancing ethical self-reliance in refugee communities.
By: mcorpai.org M-Corp AI, a humanitarian technology initiative founded by Gyu-min Jeon (Morgan J), unveiled the prototype of its Offline AI Safety Necklace, a rights-based artificial intelligence system that operates entirely without internet or cloud dependency to protect children with disabilities and strengthen refugee self-reliance. The lightweight 54 KB AI engine runs fully on-device with zero data collection and ultra-low power usage. Designed for use in refugee camps and rural environments, it can detect environmental or physical risks in real time while remaining offline — a critical feature in low-infrastructure regions where connectivity is limited or unaffordable. Unlike cloud-based AI tools that harvest personal data, M-Corp AI follows a "Dignity by Design" philosophy, ensuring that artificial intelligence serves human rights rather than surveillance. Its ethical approach combines sustainability (ESG/CSR), transparency, and digital humanitarianism under the emerging Ethic-United Nations (E-UN) framework. "Our goal is to demonstrate that ethical AI can protect lives even before full commercial deployment," "By making AI ultra-light, transparent, and inclusive, we can empower communities that the cloud has left behind." The project is supported by voluntary AI-assembly workshops involving university students and local partners, enabling youth to gain hands-on technical experience while contributing to humanitarian innovation. Each prototype can be assembled with low-cost components and powered by a $20 solar charging kit. M-Corp AI also intends to expand its research into mini-terraforming and dryland biorestoration, linking ecological recovery with digital ethics through its E-UN platform. About M-Corp AI M-Corp AI develops offline, rights-based artificial intelligence for children with disabilities and displaced communities. Its mission is to redefine technology as a tool for dignity — not for profit or data. The organization operates globally through its public-interest hub, student collaboration programs, and ethical innovation network.
