InSolare Energy Wins 600 MW / 1200 MWh BESS Project from SECI

MUMBAI, India - Oct. 31, 2025 - PRLog -- In a defining moment for India's renewable energy future, InSolare Energy Limited (https://insolare.com/) has been awarded the 600 MW / 1,200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) contract by the SECI. Among the largest standalone BESS awards to date, this milestone underscores InSolare's growing leadership in advancing India's energy reliability and Net Zero ambitions.

Located in Kolimigundla, Nandiyal District, Andhra Pradesh, and connected to the Kurnool-3 substation of the ISTS network, the project encompasses design, engineering, civil works, installation, testing, commissioning, and five years of O&M. It will serve as a cornerstone for India's clean energy storage strategy — enabling renewable power to be both dependable and dispatchable.
