A central focus of the program is honoring Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole, a beloved Hawaiian royal and a pivotal figure in the state's history. The resort, located on the site of his former estate, Pualeilani, will share his legacy through new initiatives, including:

In collaboration with cultural expert Kumu Blaine as well as the talented students from Waipahu High School, the program also features:

• Hawaiian Word of the Week: A simple yet impactful initiative that will teach guests and employees a new Hawaiian word each week. Words are grouped into themes like nature, ocean, and conversational terms, offering a fun and accessible way to learn the language.
• Cultural Celebrations: The resort will host events throughout the year to celebrate significant dates in Hawaiian history, including King Kamehameha Day, Aloha Festivals, Queen Liliuokalani's Birthday, and Hawaiian Independence Day.
