WildWords Makes It Clear: In the game of Scrabble (tm Hasbro) the one getting played is you!

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - July 29, 2025 - PRLog -- Every innovation in WildWords opens the game to greater possibilities and creative thinking. The result is a brilliant strategic pastime across your complete vocabulary.

A dozen asterisk wild tiles can represent any series of one or more letters. They have no point value but are key to finding 7-tile plays. Play D*BOBU*G for discombobulating. 20 yellow turn-to-wild squares (only some used) convert regular tiles into wild tiles. Flip an awkward Q to complete a longer word. In Scrabble, you can never think beyond your usual lousy tray.

No need to consider previous plays. Use a played wild tile for another purpose in any direction. Defend what you play, when you play it, and only if your opponent risks a challenge. A timely bluff is a part of WildWords. The scoring system is similar to Scrabble with bonus squares. However, the 40 point bonus for 7-tile plays is the major factor in winning games. Games have many fewer turns.

High score opportunities increase near the board's edges. Comebacks are quite common. Four penalty squares diminish the advantage of going first and penalize the use of two turn-to-wild squares. You may dump all (not some) of your tiles in the bag, mix, and draw a complete fresh set at the start of your turn without losing the turn. That leads to moments of joy or regret.

I am sold out of  my 5,500 board versions but am looking for a bigger company to take this over. There is a free Internet version at the site to practice or play someone on the web.
