New Leadership Academy Provides Members Chance to Network, Build Skills

By: Multiples of America

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - Jan. 1, 2025 - PRLog -- A new Leadership Academy is bringing together members of Multiples of America who volunteer in leadership positions in local chapters, state groups, and the national organization for a year of learning and networking. The aim of the Academy is to sharpen participants' knowledge and skills around leadership and to build a cadre of next generation leaders.

Over the span of a year, Academy participants will have the chance to:
  • Share learning with chapter leaders from around the nation.
  • Join in discussions around chapter leadership and management issues.
  • Connect with leadership experts during four virtual learning events.
  • Gain leadership skills and knowledge through an online book study.

"As a leader I'd like to inspire people to do better, to be better, to help each other, to be more patient and kind with each other," noted Joyce Moberg, a member of the South Florida Mothers of Multiples who is joining in the Leadership Academy. "We are all in this together…and we can make the world a better place for our children one person at a time, one interaction at a time, one moment at a time.

"At the end of Leadership Academy, I'd like to have made some friends who are in the same boat as me, raising kids and not sure how to do it," Moberg continued. "…I'd like to learn new skills or ideas that are working in other areas of the country and bring those back to my local and state clubs with fresh ideas to make things better for all."

The Academy will culminate with a special "graduation" ceremony during Multiples of America's 2025 convention, which will be held at the Omni National Resort in Tucson, AZ.
