As a registered patent attorney, Hancock has experience in preparing and prosecuting patents in a variety of technology including semiconductor manufacturing, biomedical devices, and computer systems and software. Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Hancock was an associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP. He also worked as a software engineer at Microchip Technology, Inc. and General Dynamics C4S. Hancock received his J.D. from Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Northern Arizona University. Snell & Wilmer's Dallas office is the firm's 16th office and first in Texas. The office opened in early 2022 on the heels of recent openings and expansions in Seattle, Portland, and San Diego.
