Snell & Wilmer Las Vegas Attorney Michael S. Alires Selected for Leadership Las Vegas Class of 2022

LAS VEGAS - Oct. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Michael S. Alires (https://www.swlaw.com/people/michael_alires), an attorney in the firm's Las Vegas office, was recently selected to participate in the Vegas Chamber's Leadership Las Vegas (https://www.leadership.vegas/leadership-las-vegas) program. Alires is one of 60 local community leaders representing a wide variety of industries, including private, nonprofit, and public-sector institutions, in the intensive 10-month program.

Leadership Las Vegas empowers recognized, senior-level leaders with additional knowledge, skills and relationships to advance and deepen their community impact. Through lectures, discussions, on-site visits, simulations, projects and other leadership development activities, Leadership Las Vegas class members receive in-depth exposure to the critical issues facing Southern Nevada and are challenged to apply their talents towards improving the community. The members were selected through a competitive and highly selective application and interview process.

Michael is an associate in the firm's real estate practice group. Primarily, he aids real estate developers in acquiring raw land for development. He assists his residential home developer clients in establishing homeowner associations for new communities and maintaining compliance throughout the community's build-out. Additionally, he helps clients navigate commercial lease review, commercial real estate acquisitions and other real estate negotiations. Alires received his J.D. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law and his B.A. and M.A. from Lincoln Christian University.
