SAN ANTONIO - April 8, 2021 - PRLog -- Join Community First Health Plans and the San Antonio Food Bank for a Community Garden Health & Wellness Event. Attendees will enjoy workshops on how to: grow your own garden, cook healthy meals, practice fitness at home, and much more!

Attendees are invited to register for an in-person or virtual experience. As we follow COVID safety measures, registration is required and attendance is limited. Once registration is full, the in-person option will no longer be available.

Joining in our effort to educate attendees, the SA Food Bank will provide gardening tips and cooking classes, Angel Ortega with TDI Pedi Endocrinology will have fitness demos and healthy lifestyle education, Cynthia Calzada Medellin, Zumba Instructor, will host kids and adults in-person classes and our very own pharmacists Patricia Favila & Stephanie Younts will be providing glucose checks for attendees.
