Siborg's new affordable multi-tester allows users to remotely record measurement values in real time; LCR-MPA-BT-Logger program offers features for more efficient testing

WATERLOO, Ontario - Oct. 6, 2020 - PRLog -- Siborg Systems Inc. has recently released their newest LCR-Reader-MPA device with Bluetooth connection for remote recording of measurement values in real time. The associated program, LCR-MPA-BT-Logger allows users to set predefined lists and specific test parameters for components. The program will automatically grant Pass/Fail for tested components whether they meet the standards set.

LCR-Reader-MPA (https://www.LCR-Reader.com/lcrreadermpa.html) offers users a 0.1% basic accuracy and range of test features including oscilloscope, 100 kHz test signal, easy open/short testing, AC/DC current measurements, super cap testing to 100 mF and more. When the tweezer-probes grasp a component, the device is able to determine the type of component and best test parameters for high accuracy measurements. All measurement values are automatically displayed on the LCD display in the device.

The Bluetooth model offers all these features and the added functionality of recording measurement values. The ability test with no set-up and record the resulting values is exceptionally useful for time sensitive tasks such as production lines.

The main feature of the BT Logger program is the pass/fail assessment feature. Users set custom profiles for each component in a list; set the desired values for impedance values and test settings (signal level, frequency and circuit model) and measured components. The program's main display of the screen will turn green if the set parameters are met. All measurement values are recorded below the main display with the 'Test' column turning red or green depending on the outcome. The ability to quickly determine whether a pass or fail has been granted is invaluable. (https://www.LCR-Reader.com)

Users can set profiles for Single Component testing and Multiple Component testing. Single component testing is best for when the same type of component is tested repeatedly. Multiple Component test is best for full PCBs of various component types and values.

Upon release, the program only works with Windows and Android devices; recorded values are exportable to Excel.

Siborg has been offering multimeters since the early 2000's and released their own line, the LCR-Reader family, in 2014. The LCR-Reader (https://www.LCR-Reader.com) offers an affordable price point without compromising on accuracy; for less than $150 USD, it offers automatic LCR and ESR measurements with 0.5% basic accuracy and no set-up required.
