LCR-Reader-MPA All-in-One Multimeter Wins Bronze in Product of the Year 2020
LCR-Reader-MPA from Siborg placed 3rd in Plant Engineering's Product of the Year; Devices now available on Digikey marketplace
Plant Engineering is an online and offline magazine and source of news and products for production and maintenance. MPA went up against products from Des-Case Corp., Exair and two products from Fluke Corp.
LCR-Reader-MPA offers a wide range of features for testing and troubleshooting PCBs and SMT. The unique device will automatically determine the type of component and test parameters to use before displaying high accuracy measurement values.
Some test features include: automatic and manual LCR/ESR measurements, LED/ Diode test, AC/DC Voltage/Current meter, 100 kHz test frequency, oscilloscope mode, and more.
-Automatic and manual LCR/ESR measurements
-0.1% basic accuracy
-Test frequencies, 100, 120 Hz, 1, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 75 and 100 kHz
-Easy open/short calibration and parasitic offset removal
-Super Large Capacitance test up to 1 F
-Three test signal levels 0.1, 0.5 and 1 Vrms
-AC/DC Current/Voltage True Vrms measurements
-1.3 oz weight and ergonomic design
Siborg released a Bluetooth enabled version that allows users to remotely record measurement values and set custom measurement profiles. When using profiles, users can set desired values and automatically compare the desired values to the measured values. The companion LCR-MPA-BT Data Logger Program then marks the values red or green or fail or pass depending on whether they meet the desired values. All measurement values are exportable to spreadsheet making remotely recording values exceptionally handy for quality control.
A selection of Siborg's test equipment is now available on Digikey Marketplace, as well as on the LCR-Reader Store and Amazon sales channels in North America and Europe.
Since the launch of the LCR-Reader brand, Siborg has expanded its product line to include the Colibri, LCR-Reader-MP, LCR-Reader-MPA and LCR-Reader-MPA BT with Bluetooth connection. Siborg will be adding to the family the 2021 launch of the LCR-Reader R2 which includes a 300 kHz test frequency, allowing for better accuracy while testing small inductances and capacitances.
