All-in-One Multi Tester In the Finals to be Product of the Year for Plant Engineering

WATERLOO, Ontario - Nov. 12, 2020 - PRLog -- Siborg Systems Inc. submitted their LCR-Reader-MPA all-in-one multi tester for Product of the Year, hosted by Plant Engineering. The product has passed the preliminary round and has entered the finals. Voting opens November 12th for subscribers, with winners being announced in 2021.

LCR-Reader-MPA is different from traditional multimeters by using tweezers as the probes instead of long wire leads. The tweezer probes help grasp and hold mounted or loose components. With fully automatic measurements, users only need to touch the tweezers to a component and the MPA will determine the type of component and best test parameters to use. The device uses a 0.1% basic accuracy to test and instantly displays the results.

Some of the main features of the device include: a wide range of test frequencies including 100 kHz, frequency measurements, LED/diode testing, AC/DC voltage/current testing, signal generator, an oscilloscope mode, and more.

Siborg has recently launched a new model of LCR-Reader-MPA that uses a Bluetooth connection to send and receive measurement data remotely. All measurement values are recorded into the LCR-MPA-BT Data Logger program and can be exported to a spreadsheet. The main feature of the program is the one click pass/fail assessment.
