The Columbia Group Earns Two National Community of Quality® Certifications

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - March 16, 2020 - PRLog -- The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA), headquartered in Alexandria, Va., announced that The Columbia Group recently received National Recognition as a Community of Quality® for outstanding management of Goodwill's Santa Barbara Village in Cape Coral.

To be recognized as a National Community of Quality®, a property must receive a high score based on six criteria: Physical Inspections; Employee Credentials; Financial Management; Programs and Services; Endorsements; and Photographs and Reports. Applicants must score a minimum total of 225 points in the categories.

The Columbia Group was honored in two categories for its resident services and programs at Santa Barbara Village, a residential apartment complex for people with disabilities located in the heart of Cape Coral that is owned by SWFL Goodwill Housing. The awards were for 'Exemplary Development for Residents with Special Needs' and for 'Exemplary Development for Single Room Occupancy Housing.'
