Mosaic Harmony is an interfaith community choir, formed 25 years ago as an experiment between two churches to create an open and welcoming space through music, where people could find love and acceptance regardless of race, faith tradition, sexual orientation, or any other differences. Mosaic Harmony anchors its mission to celebrate diversity and inclusiveness, sharing our message through the powerful medium of song, and inspiring our audiences to embrace ALL people. The choir's director explains to audiences during one of their signature concert sing-a-long songs "Harmony" that they have all passed the audition to join and to stop in at next rehearsal. Noted one new member of the choir, "the concert was such a refreshing change and I had no idea what to expect. There's no audition required to join which was the primary reason I joined since I was certain I belonged in the "joyful noise" section. David convinces us through his patience, gift of music and amazing energy that we really can sing anything!"
Mosaic Harmony's concerts are performances that leave audiences feeling uplifted and encouraged. To accomplish this, Mosaic Harmony draws on the rich heritage of African-American inspirational music to demonstrate and encourage unity in the midst of diversity. Mosaic Harmony brings together people of diverse cultures, ages, backgrounds, and multiple faith traditions to celebrate humanity. Our mission is "Unifying the world, one song at a time." We encourage you to join us for this celebration of humanity.
