Garcia & Artigliere Files Lawsuit Against Reche Canyon Regional Rehab Center in Colton, CA

The 83-year old injury victim was admitted to Reche Canyon Rehab Center in November 2019 after falling and sustaining a serious hip fracture. Because she had a history of falls – and numerous other health conditions related to her advanced age – the rehabilitation center staff had a high duty of care to ensure that the victim was supervised at all times.

However, the team at Garcia & Artigliere alleges that the rehabilitation center staff failed in this basic duty. Within just two months of admittance to Reche Canyon Rehab Center, the victim suffered multiple falls and near-misses, culminating in a final fall that caused a T11 rib fracture and a life-threatening hematoma on her chest. When staff members informed the family about her condition, they incorrectly claimed that her chest trauma was only a "bruise."

Because of the neglect she experienced at Reche Canyon Rehab Center, the victim is now seeking maximum compensation for her hospital bills and catastrophic injuries.
