| Merrill Hotel To Welcome Pink Heals With Community Open HousePink Heals Tour ~ Bringing love, hope, and support to Muscatine
By: The Merrill Hotel The mission of Pink Heals is to serve members of the surrounding community with a message of love, hope, and hugs while raising awareness of diseases that affect women. The Pink Heals National Tour operates by the sale of merchandise, gifts, local sponsorship and in kind donations to maintain their vehicles, buy gas, and travel across the country to visit men, women, and children to share the program. "The Pink Heals Tour is about our community, our family, our neighbors, and our leaders and how it will help bring us back together to focus on one another," says Pink Heals founder Dave Graybill. Pink Heals is personalized support at a grass roots level and visionary leaders across the world are implementing this global program at a rapid pace including founders of the Sauk Valley Chapter who are bringing their pink fire truck to The Merrill Hotel. During the Community Open House, Lee Belfield, general manager at The Merrill will present a check to the Pink Heals Sauk Valley Chapter for funds raised by The Merrill artists [employees] during the Pink Out Day held October 23rd as well as a portion of the proceeds from the Pink Ta-Ta Tini specialty cocktail featured in Maxwell's at the Merrill leading up to the event. "We are excited to welcome the Pink Heals Sauk Valley Chapter to Muscatine," says Lee, "and we hope the community will help us support this mission by attending the open house, signing the truck, or getting a photo taken."
