Our Sterling History: What really is the history of the Ponty Chadha Foundation? Simply remarkable. The foundation was first initiated by Mrs Jatinder Kaur, widow to the late Ponty Chadha. Mr Chadha was the famed visionary chairman of the Wave Group. The Foundation was established in memory of the man who was well-known for standing up for the rights and education for poor children. Our major objective is to prepare a better tomorrow for underprivileged people in Indian society. This include women, children, farmers, the elderly and youths. The crux of our work includes: • Organizing health camps in India • Running skills academy • Rural sanitation and health awareness • Supporting skills and professional development • Education for poor children • Alleviating hunger and promoting food security • Providing skills and training for disadvantage people in rural and urban areas. Other Activities of the Foundation: 1. Rural Sanitation The Ponty Chadha Foundation works to spread practical ideas for hygiene in rural areas and villages of India. We especially target given areas in the country. These include the Noida and Ghaziabad regions. In doing this we exploit various practical channels including: • Billboards • Pamphlets • Banners • Direct contact of householders • Mass meetings • Hoardings While at this, our aim is always to empower the Indian communities and masses, giving back to them, as it were. Certain arms of our operation have been especially helpful in this regard; these are the CSR and the PCF. 2. Conducting health camps The Ponty Chadha Foundation, the best NGO in India, conducts health camps in India with great results. In doing this, our guiding mantra is that every citizen has the right to live a healthy life in whatever region the person lives in. As outlined, in collaboration with the PCF, the foundation conducts many health camps in India, and especially in the Ghaziabad area. We do this in special association with such respected medical professionals like Dr Ram Saran of the reputable Indo-German hospital. Of particular attention to the Foundation is ensuring that education for poor children in India is achieved. In this regard, the PCF-an NGO Working for the welfare of society, has been instrumental in ensuring that the objectives and goals of the Ponty Chadha Foundation are realized to unimaginable levels of success. From the foregoing, it is certainly with good reasons that The Ponty Chadha Foundation is today highly regarded as the Best NGO in India ( http://www.thepontychadhafoundation.org ). End
