-- Cornwall Ontario artist, author and Autism advocate, Carl Parker, is back on the international exhibition scene after a three year hiatus owing to what he called "personal reasons". He has been invited to exhibit his work at Summer 18, an international exhibition taking place in Barcelona, Spain. The event, organized by Netherlands arts promoter, Galeria Zero, is set to take place from July 20 - 31.
Parker will have three works in the show, a lively and colourful impressionistic landscape called country afternoon, and two pieces, My Surreal Life and Stay Grounded, which depict his unique and eclectic style, a mixture of abstraction, surrealism, impressionism and expressionism.
"I am honoured and humbled to have been invited," said Parker of his participation in the international show, "It's great to be back at it, things are great, I'm feeling great and I'm painting better than ever."
