CORNWALL, Ontario - Dec. 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Christmas came early for Cornwall artist Carl Parker.  Hot on the heels of  last year's painting, Rustic Place, being displayed in the Ontario Provincial Legislature's In Camera Dining Room, he has just been advised that his current piece, Night Rink, has been accepted for display in the same dining room for the upcoming year as part of the the province's Art a la Carte Program.

Parker, who was diagnosed with high functioning Autism at age 36 is both surprised and excited to be chosen for the program for a second straight year.  "I thought I'd apply again, but I really never dreamed they'd accept me a second time.  I'm very honoured that they appreciate my work so much."

The exhibit will run throughout 2020.

Mr. Parker is also the author of Carl Parker:  A Life in Paint:  How One Adult With Asperger's Found His Place in the World Through Art, available on Amazon.
