Cornwall Artist Debuts Second Book

CORNWALL, Ontario - June 17, 2019 - PRLog -- From the quiet city of Cornwall, Ontario, artist and author, Carl Parker has just released his second book, Fake News, Real Paintings:  An Artist's View of What's Wrong With the World.  Parker describes his latest offering as a collection of his self-styled "protest pieces," along with commentary regarding the inspiration and frustration behind each.  The author describes the book as "sometimes jarring, honest, in your face and sometimes quite funny."

"As I get older, I find myself looking around more and more, paying attention to the world around me, and that seeps into me, into my work.  I never paid attention to politics or any of that when I was younger, but now, I find myself, at times, yelling at the television or the computer at the craziness that seems to be happening everywhere.  My way of dealing with that is through my art," Parker explained.
