Local Community Group gives Back

ROCKWALL, Texas - Jan. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- It's not uncommon for the people and businesses of Rockwall Texas to give back, and Social Kudo found a great example of this.  It all started with a new Facebook Group wanting to do some good, and a local T-Shirt company with a big heart.

The Rockwallians partnered up with local business AllSports Etc., with an idea to sell T-shirts and give all the profits to a local charity.  AllSports Etc. agreed to make and sell the shirts for $20.00 and donate the profits ($10.00 per shirt) to the chosen nonprofit. "Allsports is very involved in the community and we try to give back as often as we can." said Linda Diaz of Allsports Etc.

On January 22, 2015, $1,929.00 was donated to Rockwall Helping Hands on behalf of the 15,000+ members of Rockwallian. This was the money raised by sales of Rockwallian shirts, hoodies, stickers and Christmas ornaments. The apparel was sold through AllSports Etc.. and the ornaments by Cypress Lane Designs.

The Rockwallian Group stated "We will continue to donate all proceeds from any items sold with the "Rockwallian" name to a Rockwall County based charities. The charity will be chosen by member vote and rotate approximately every 8 weeks."
