GAI Consultants Welcomes Leading Indiana Bridge Engineer Troy Jessop, PE

INDIANAPOLIS - Jan. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- Bringing more than 27 years of experience with the design, construction engineering, and management of bridge projects, GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) welcomes Troy Jessop, PE as Assistant Director of Engineering to expand the firm's Midwest transportation operations. In this role, Mr. Jessop serves GAI's new and existing clients from the firm's Indianapolis office on projects such as the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)-Seymour District on-call bridge projects.

• Troy has directed complex bridge construction projects for state departments of transportation, local transportation authorities, and the Federal Aviation Authority.

• He has in-depth experience working with bridge contractors on design-build projects; performing value engineering, construction engineering, and falsework designs; and has performed both post-tensioning and grouting inspection services.

• Troy holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purdue University and is a registered professional engineer in Indiana, Ohio, and Florida.

• He is also certified in Federal Highway Administration/American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Roadside Design.

• In addition, Troy has been involved with the INDOT Design Manual Steering Team; INDOT Structural Committee; Purdue-INDOT Joint Research Committee-Structures Group; the American Society of Civil Engineers; and the American Segmental Bridge Institute.
