YORKSHIRE, U.K. - Oct. 10, 2017 - PRLog -- The consultation with service users encourages open communication that discusses each and every individuals' thoughts and wishes about how they would like to engage and participate with the wider community and their friends.

During one consultation the wish to visit York Railways Museum and a trip to Flamingo Land was requested. A visit to America was also discussed, which unfortunately couldn't happen, but not deterred the next best thing, an American themed evening held at the house.

Ralph Parish, registered manager at Goldcrest House says: "We have always consulted with our service users to understand and learn of their individual needs. However in this instance we have made the consultation part a fun group activity. It's one of the highlights in our monthly calendar and is thoroughly embraced by all service users eager to discuss their thoughts."
