Tellico Village provides unique experience

TELLICO VILLAGE, Tenn. - Sept. 11, 2017 - PRLog -- Ask  producers Shawna Hunt and Carla Johnson why they produced the latest episode of Tellico Village Broadcasting's Lifestyles of Tellico Village, and they will tell you as relative newcomers themselves, "One of the unique experiences of moving to Tellico Village is becoming involved with the New Villagers Club of Tellico Village."

The club  is unique in that it is totally self-directed by new residents of Tellico Village. With a few exceptions, everyone from the president, to the board, to the chairpeople of activities have lived in the village no more than two-years. This means the programs, social and other activities are a direct reflection of the membership of the group, and not dictated by some village bureaucracy  such as a homeowners association.  This independence provides the opportunity to create programs and activities that are direct reflection of a dynamic and ever changing group. It also provies the opportunity to find other residents who have recently moved to the village and share their new experiences.

The video provides those who may be comtemplating relocating to a community such as Tellico Village to hear what people who have recently moved to the village think about the place they have selected to make their new  homes.

"Word of mouth is the most credible way to learn of something, and what better way to learn of Tellico Village is there than to  listen to new residents, talk about their own experienes?" Asks Johnson."

Tellico Village is located in East Tennessee on 26-mile-long Lake Tellico and provides views both of the Smoky Mountains and their foothills. Natural amenities include boating, kayaking, fishing swimming, hiking, birding, and more. Tellico Village amenities include three championship golf courses, an incredible wellness center, a yacht club with million-dollar views, and hundreds of activities.  It is hard to imagine a place that offers everything offered by Tellico Village.

The New Villagers Club of Tellico Vilageis a social organization, whose purpose is to Welcome, Acclimate, and Entertain newcomers in Tellico Village.  We promote friendships and facilitate participation in the activities of the VillageThe Club is organized and run by members.  Our membership turnover ensures that the program stays fresh. .

Membership is open to individuals or households who have resided in Tellico Village for less than two years.  New members normally enjoy 24 months of membership; however, this can be extended if a member volunteers in one of the important board or chairperson positions.

A modest one-time membership fee per household is collected at the time of registration.

TVB is supported by and a component of the Tellico Village Property Owners Association. Our well-equipped recording and editing studio is located at 210 Chota Road; upstairs in the Public Safety Building. Our staff meetings are conducted on Tuesday mornings. Recordings are made on a scheduled basis.
