Brian Danzinger Sponsors another successful Boo Bash 2016

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Nov. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- Brian Danzinger of District 11 hosted another successful "Boo Bash" 2016 at the Titletown Tap Room in historic On Broadway district in downtown Green Bay. The event encouraged guests to once again donate non-perishable food donations for area pantries. This year, Brian Danzinger also partnered with The American Red Cross to help raise funds for their upcoming "Dancing With Our Stars" Event. The combined efforts raised nearly $700 for the American Red Cross and their disaster relief efforts as well as almost 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food. This year's food collections have also incorporated the CHIP Program's Food Drive Five, aiming to promote healthier food donations for our area food pantries, which focuses on whole grain foods, fruits/vegetables, and healthy proteins. Some great suggestions include:

1 - Protein foods like nuts, canned tuna, and peanut butter

2 - Whole Grain Pasta and Cereals

3 - Canned Fruit

4 - Canned Soup with protein and veggies

5 - Canned Veggies
