GeoComm's GSA Contract Extended Through August 2021

SAINT CLOUD, Minn. - Sept. 20, 2016 - PRLog -- GeoComm, a leader in public safety GIS solutions, is pleased to announce an extension of their current GSA IT Schedule Contract.  This contract provides our customers with many benefits and simplifies the purchasing process for local, state, and federal agencies.

GeoComm's GSA Schedule contract offers an easy-to-use contract vehicle that most of our customers are familiar with.  All of GeoComm's products and services can be ordered directly from us, allowing agencies to acquire our products and services through the GSA schedule without going to bid or through an exhaustive competitive pricing process.

The GSA Schedule Program is a centralized federal procurement and property management agency created by Congress to improve government efficiency and help federal agencies better serve the public.  It establishes long-term government-wide contracts with commercial firms so that federal customers can purchase commercial services and products at pre-approved discounted pricing.

"We are excited our GSA IT Schedule contract has been extended.  This contract has many benefits for our customers, some of which include: shorter lead times and lower administrative costs.  As a result of these benefits we can help jurisdictions quickly receive what they need for an effective 9-1-1 system," Jody Sayre, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

GeoComm's GSA Schedule contract, which was originally awarded to GeoComm in September 2006, was extended through August 31, 2021.  All of GeoComm's public safety software solutions are included in the GSA contract.
