PRLog -- It was a college basketball game in 1941 that brought together Harriet and Sandy Krasky, now residents of Stein Assisted Living. Harriet was a cheerleader and Sandy a spectator who admired her. Then, as luck would have it, they both attended a post-game dance and Sandy asked Harriet to dance. "The rest," as Sandy says, "is history." This month the couple celebrated their 73rd anniversary, recollecting their long life together. They dated for two years, and married the day after Sandy was appointed 2nd lieutenant upon graduating from flight school. They traveled together for three years while Sandy was in the Service and then settled down in New Jersey to raise a family. Their daughter, Paula, sits on the Executive Board of the Wilf Campus for Senior Living and they are the proud grandparents of Karen and Scott and great grandparents to Jacob, Sophie and Charlie. After 73 years of a happy and loving marriage they each had wisdom to share: "Never go to sleep angry," said Harriet; "Kiss and make up before the night ends," Sandy agreed!
