New Book Details a Widow's Journey Through Grief
Deborah Young's "Hanging On – A Painful Pilgrimage" Reveals Lessons in Perseverance
Willie and Deborah Young had the kind of marriage where they would call each other "Sweetie" and actually mean it. That's what made Willie's death from accidental fentanyl poisoning all that much harder for Deborah to handle. His cause of death was the same that soon would befall the legendary musician, Prince.
Deborah Young soon realized her own grief journey wasn't going to be as easy as simply moving on. Through her strong faith and the patient support of family and friends, she was able to overcome the paralyzing sadness that followed this traumatic event and appreciate life again. Her intimate story of survival assures readers that it is okay to heal at their own pace.
"Hanging On – A Painful Pilgrimage: One Woman's Journey Through Grief" is available in paperback and digital formats on Amazon at amzn.to/1UdLuhd, as well as a number of retail outlets in the Green Bay, Wisconsin, area, including Lighthouse Christian Books and Bosse's News and Tobacco.
Young will sign copies of "Hanging On – A Painful Pilgrimage: One Woman's Journey Through Grief" in front of Bosse's News and Tobacco, 220 Cherry St., during Green Bay's Artstreet festival, 12-3 p.m. on August 27 and 28, 2016.
