Eleven New Participating Businesses Join The C.A.R.I.N.G. Group to Support Local Schools

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Aug. 4, 2016 - PRLog -- Eleven new participating businesses have joined The C.A.R.I.N.G. Group, pledging to donate a percentage of all purchases made by C.A.R.I.N.G. Group members to local schools of the consumers' choices.

Nearly 30 local businesses are participating in the consumer-focused, market-driven program (www.thecaringgroup.org), which has donated more than $7,500 to local schools since its inception 18 months ago. Another round of donations is expected in September to celebrate the start of the school year.

"We are tremendously pleased about so many businesses joining the C.A.R.I.N.G. Group program," said Tom Gaumond, President of the C.A.R.I.N.G. Group. "More participating businesses create more opportunities for consumers to make purchases they need, and support their favorite schools in the process. Everyone wins!"

Consumers can sign up as C.A.R.I.N.G. Group members at www.thecaringgroup.org. No dues or fees are involved. The web site has a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) (https://thecaringgroup.org/index.php?Top-Navigation-FAQs-13) page that explains many program details.

Consumers can provide additional money for their favorite schools just by patronizing locally-owned participating businesses in the program. No extra cost is involved.

Is your favorite business not participating? Talk to the owner or manager about joining the C.A.R.I.N.G. Group. It's free. The only criteria are that a business be based in Waukesha County, or have an owner who lives in the county (even if the business is elsewhere).

"The C.A.R.I.N.G. Group uses a principle that consumers can generate money for their favorite schools just by making purchases they could need on any given day," Gaumond said. "If you have a favorite local business that isn't part of the program, ask them to join! Together we can build stronger schools and a stronger community."
