Widen Launches Quick Insights, an Analytics 'Cheat Sheet' for Digital Marketers

New Content Analytics Cut Through Data Clutter to Reveal What Visual Content Is Most Engaging, Where It Is Used, and How It Could Perform Better
 
MADISON, Wis. - June 13, 2016 - PRLog -- Widen Enterprises, a leading provider of digital asset management (DAM) software, today introduced Quick Insights, an analytics 'cheat sheet' for digital marketers. A feature in the Widen Media Collective, Quick Insights reveals what marketers want to know on a daily basis: how is our content performing, where is it being used, and how could it perform better? To answer these questions, Widen introduced new metrics and tools designed for quick research, brand monitoring, and sound decision making. The most noteworthy include:

1. Insights Engagement Score. Marketers can identify their most engaging assets with one click and sort digital assets by their level of popularity and reach. The score factors in views, downloads, share link views, social media shares, and other criteria.

2. Asset Trail. Once an asset is embedded on a website, marketers can see the total number of views and the referrer URLs from which the asset was viewed. They can monitor the places where their content appears and change, remove, and add new assets as their branding evolves.

3. Video Retention Tracker. This tool reveals how videos perform across digital channels by tracking the average view time and number of plays. Average retention can even pinpoint where viewership drops off, enabling video production teams to improve their work and maximize the company's investment in videos.

Quick Insights simplifies other data that will be familiar to Widen users. In addition to sorting by engagement score, Quick Insights can also sort by most or least downloaded, shared, or embedded assets. Moreover, admins who require users to indicate their intended use before downloading assets can see a count of intended use values -- like presentations, email, or social media -- in Quick Insights.
