Launch of a new 3D furniture customisation software by a Bangalore startup

BANGALORE, India - May 17, 2016 - PRLog -- This week, we saw launch of a new software from the software capital of India, from a company in the space of virtual and augmented reality.

Infurnia, a furniture technology company based out of Bangalore, launched its B2B furniture personalization service this week. It has partnered with select few players in the modular kitchen market like Magnon India and Kuvio Studio. The technology is aimed at speeding up the process of designing and helping sellers move on from regular software like AutoCAD.

The startup claims that its technology helps improve the customer's experience by showing them how any design will look in their homes and not just standard virtual rooms. A review by our team does confirm that for the first time, customers will be able to see any customization that they want, being done right in front of them in real time in 3D.

Nikhil Kumar and Lovepreet Mann, graduates from IIT Bombay, founded Infurnia in 2014, and they raised $160k from UAE based Idein Ventures in January. It has interior designer Parul Jain as one of its design advisors and Pikanshu Kumar, an IIIT Allahabad graduate, as one of its technical leads. Its website and social media channels also claim that they are in the process of building one of its kind virtualisation software.

In the past one year, a number of startups have come up this domain. Startups like Infurnia are showing the way for dozens of virtual reality startups stemming from Bangalore and giving competition to the Silicon Valley.
