Fair Value Quality Initiative Progress Report Released

 
RESTON, Va. - May 11, 2016 - PRLog -- Senior representatives from the American Society of Appraisers, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors have released a new report outlining the progress of an ongoing initiative designed to improve the quality of financial reporting valuations for United States publicly traded companies.

The 12-page report titled, The Assessment of the Current Professional Infrastructure Governing Fair Value Quality Progress Report, includes a brief background of the initiative, followed by an outline of identified problems, project approach, performance requirements, qualifications and quality control, and concludes with an explanation of key needs and desired results.
