Drake to attend the Farewell Reception in Honor of Her Excellency Elena Poptodorova

NEW YORK - May 5, 2016 - PRLog -- The Soho Loft Conferences supports the Farewell Reception in honor of Her Excellency Elena Poptodorova, this May 6, 2016 in New York, New York.

The reception, organized by the American Foundation for Bulgaria,  will be held  from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York.

LDJ Capital Chairman, David Drake, will be attending the reception. He says, "Ambassador Poptodorova has played a vital role in the relationship between Bulgaria and the United States. I am honored to be part of her momentous send off."

Since 2010, Her Excellency has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Bulgaria to the United States. Prior to this appointment, she headed the Bulgaria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Security Policy Directorate. She became Black Sea Region's Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In the 1990s, Ambassador Poptodorova served as a Parliament member, as well as serving on committees for human rights, national security, foreign policy and agriculture.
