Get Your Zombie Fix Free 5/6-5/10

MANCHESTER, N.H. - April 8, 2016 - PRLog -- New Hampshire based author Tim Morgan will be giving electronic copies of his zombie thriller THE TRIP May 6th - 10th. The giveaway commemorates the release of an audiobook version of the novel.

"We're excited about this," says Morgan. "I brought in three very talented narrators to bring the story to life, and they did an awesome job. This should be a listening experience."

The story unfolds using a combination of newscasts, blog posts by the main character Meghan, and traditional narrative. THE TRIP is available in print through Amazon.com and BN.Com, and electronically through Amazon in Kindle format. The ebook can be read on Kindle devices or using a free Kindle app available for numerous devices, such as smartphones or tablets.

Reading the narrative is New Hampshire based actress Kimberley Miller. Kimberley trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she had the privilege of performing the role of Hamlet on London's Shakespeare Globe stage as part of their educational series.

Lending her voice to the newscaster is Boston based actress, musician and indie filmmaker Sophia Cacciola. More than an actress and a pillar of the local arts scene, Sophia has co-written, co-directed and co-produced produced three - count 'em - three indie films, TEN, MAGNETIC and BLOOD OF THE TRIBADES. Sophia also drums/sings in the spy-core band DO NOT FORSAKE ME OH MY DARLING.

Rounding out the cast is New Hampshire based actress Felicia Flanagan, voicing Meghan's blog posts. Felicia's voice can be heard in the original trailer for THE TRIP, and she'll be taking the lead in an animated version of the story currently in production.

Morgan, a software developer by day and indie writer and filmmaker in his free time, used tools and equipment he had on hand for filmmaking to record the dialog track. The actors recorded their parts separately, with Morgan handling editing and mixing. He independently published THE TRIP through Amazon's CreateSpace publishing platform and overall says it's been a pleasant experience.

Taking on the audiobook was no easy task. "It's a lot of work," says Morgan, "but it's worth it. I got to work with three very talented actors on this project, and it really adds to the story having these distinctive voices reading the various parts."

The giveaway will take place on Amazon.com, starting on May 6th and running until May 10th. The book will be free to download and available for later reading by the customer.
