NH Zombie Writer Releases Audiobook - On His Own
Indie author and filmmaker Tim Morgan proudly announces the audiobook version of his zombie novel THE TRIP, brought to life by three talented actors.

"I'm excited about the audiobook release," says Morgan. The story follows narrator Meghan and her two friends on a cross-country bicycle trip in the summer between her senior year of high school and freshman year of college. Halfway across the country there's a zombie virus outbreak and the three make a desperate bid for home through infected territory.
Unfolding through a combination of Meghan's blog posts, newscasts, and traditional narrative puts a unique spin on a crowded genre. "A lot of people said reading the novel hit them one way," says Morgan. "While I was editing it there were times I had to remind myself this isn't really happening. It's that engaging."
Morgan chose three New England actors to voice the different parts of the novel, which meant significant editing work that would end in a much more interesting experience for the listener.
The story's primary narrator is New Hampshire actor Kimberley Miller. Miller trained at The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she performed the role of Hamlet at London's Shakespeare Globe Theatre.
Reading the newscasts is Boston-based actor, musician and indie filmmaker Sophia Cacciola. Cacciola is highly active in the New England film and music scene, producing three of her own independent features.
Narrating Meghan's blog posts is New Hampshire-based actor Felicia Flanagan. Flanagan voiced the same role in the original book trailer, and will be returning to the role in an animated version of the story which is currently in production.
Morgan handled the recording, editing and encoding work on his own, recording with equipment he uses for independent films. Preparing the audio with three narrators was at times difficult, but Morgan rose to the challenge. "This was only my second time out," says Morgan, "and it was a lot of work, but I'm glad I approached it this way; it's a very effective way to tell this story."
THE TRIP is available in audiobook format from Amazon.com, Audible.com, and iTunes. Print and Kindle versions are also available for sale at Amazon.com as well.
