Sanctioned by Volley America

Join East End Volleyball at Cedar Beach this summer for some fun in the sand.  East End Volleyball runs beach volleyball leagues Monday – Friday from 6pm – sunset.  Leagues are hosted by the Cedar Beach Hut.  Food Specials & entertainment will be available at the Beach Hut all season including Lobster night and live bands, making Cedar Beach the best place to play beach volleyball on Long Island. The league is presented by e-blasting.com.  All league teams receive a volleyball from our key sponsor Spalding King of the Beach.  Each player will also get an EEVB 2016 league t-shirt thanks to South Shore Outdoors.

The league runs for 13 weeks throughout the summer with a free end of the year championship tournament in September.  Players have a choice between several divisions including 4s, 6s and 2s.  The 6s division is separated by competitive and recreational play.  Competitive divisions are for players who have played before and know the rules, while recreational divisions are for those who are just starting out, learning the game, and want to have fun. All 6s divisions are coed, and must have 2 females playing at all times.  4s can be any gender.  Divisions offered vary each night of the week.  Mondays offer 4s and Recreational 6s.  Tuesdays will have 4s, Women’s 4s, Competitive & Recreational 6s.  A junior program will also be held on Tuesdays for junior players who want to learn the game of beach volleyball doubles.  More information on that program will come later in the year.  Wednesdays offer Men’s and Women’s doubles and Recreational 6s.  Thursdays will offer 4s, Competitive and Recreational 6s.  Friday nights offer Coed 2s and Recreational 6s.

For the 13-week season, plus a free League National Championship tournament, prices range from $340-$660 depending upon division.  Early bird prices are available for teams who pay in full by May 2, 2016.  Teams that pay after the cutoff date will be charged full price.

Players of all ages and skill level are welcome and encouraged to play this summer.  For players who are new to the game, it is recommended that you start out in a recreational division.  Players who have been playing and know the rules should consider playing in a competitive division.  East End Volleyball has been running beach volleyball events since 1977.  Be a part of the fun in 2016 and help them celebrate 39 years of digging it in the sand.
