Movies Aren't The Only Thing Coming to Georgia

ATLANTA - Jan. 25, 2016 - PRLog -- While the film industry in Georgia has been booming, there's been a small, but steady, development in the voice acting side of the house.  Unlike the glitz and glamour on-camera talent enjoy, voice actors are generally only heard; until now.

Thanks to VO Atlanta, an annual voiceover conference taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, voice actors have been able to gather, network, and train to improve themselves.  The conference has averaged 25% growth each of the past 3 years.  That growth is expected to continue into this 4th annual event.

It's not expected that VO Atlanta will rival the mega productions and events surrounding the film industry, it's great to see that this small group of dedicated talent have found a home in Georgia where they can continue to grow and expand.  Who knows, the voices for the next mega-blockbuster may find its roots here in the south, or at least, inspired by their VO Atlanta experience.

In 2015, the VO Atlanta conference attracted talent, agents, and directors from more than 15 countries and 28 states around the US.  2016 is ontrack to surpase that as Georgia opens its arms to welcome those wanting to connect with the best that the south has to offer.  Only time will tell.  Learn more at http://voatlanta.me
