Kay Bess is an over-30-year veteran of voiceover. She has voiced commercials for T-Mobile, AT&T, McDonald's, Hidden Valley Ranch, Kaiser Permanente, Apple, Jergen's, Toyota, Hyundai, Oster, Curves, Sears, and Southern California Edison. She's done promos for CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, STARZ, Comedy Central, SYFY, Disney Channel, and CTV News Canada. She's narrated documentaries for Discovery, E! Entertainment, WE Women's Entertainment, and The Learning Channel, among others. She's voiced video game characters in Skylanders, Call of Duty IW, Agents of Mayhem, Mass Effect, and Dead Space among others.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kay has shown herself to be an authentic supporter of others desire to achieve their goals. She also relishes hosting an emerging podcast called The B-Hive: Women in Voiceover available on iTunes. Given the outspoken nature of her work, you'd never guess Kay was an introvert. Her nature is as relational as it is cloistered, and is well suited to the podcast format. She loves the one-on-one interviews, talking with and bringing attention to others, and bringing to light the stories of some amazing women whose work is heard everywhere, but largely goes unsung.
