OSSCube Webinar on Big Data Application Architectures Saw Huge Attendance

NOIDA, India - Jan. 22, 2016 - PRLog -- OSSCube, successfully held a webinar on 'How to architect a Big Data Application to unleash its full potential' presented by Raghavan Solium, Lead Architect, Big Data at OSSCube. The webinar saw an attendance of approx. 140 people from across the country; among them were technical leads, senior developers, QA professionals, pre-sales professionals from Big Data Analytics practices.

Big data architecture, can alternatively be called as hadoop architecture, as today there aren't many Big data implementations without using hadoop. The topic also holds importance because of the rapid change happening in the Big Data domain in terms of the range of tools and the rapid enterprise adoption.

Today, there are a lot of companies that are in POC stage or are moving from POC to production stage that don't want to lag behind. A lot of enterprises are also seeing value in Big Data solutions. Though there are a vast number of tools available, there aren't many books or documentation on its implementation.

The webinar was divided into four sections-:

2) Consideration for Architecture

3) Options for various status

4) Sample Architectures

5) Q&A session with the audience

As the topic is quite vast, the session could only offer a bird's eye view of Big Data architecture implementation. However, in future webinars, Raghavan expressed his desire to delve into specific use cases as well as specific architectures.
