PARTI Program presents the 17th Annual MLK Stop The Violence Event on January 16, 2016

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Dec. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- The Martin Luther King Jr. Stop The Violence Event is one of the largest youth events in California that features a VIP Reception, Fashion Show, Talent Showcase and more to create awareness about social issues that affect youth. The event brings together youth from all over the Bay Area working together to Stop The Violence. Civic Leaders, Business Professionals, and Community are invited to come have a great afternoon filled with music, entertainment and networking as we celebrate as a community and raise funds to support the great works of youth in the community!!!! P.A.R.T.I. (Positive Alternative Recreation Teambuilding Impact) Program

Established in 2000, the PARTI Program is a non-partisan, non-sectarian 501(c)(3), non-profit organization with the primary mission of enhancing youth critical thinking skills.

PARTI Program serves over 5,000 high-risk, impacted and intentional youth in Santa Clara County, Alameda County and Los Angeles County. Our main programs are: High Impact, cultural arts (Fusion), PARTI Health, Leadership Development and Mentorship Program.

It is impossible for a child to be successful in life, if he or she has not been taught to believe in themselves. The P.A.R.T.I. program believes that our children are our community’s greatest assets. Every day we work to change the lives of youth who suffer from depression, violent lifestyles, unhealthy relationships and unstable families.

Through P.A.R.T.I., many young people from the communities that are under served will experience the growth that comes from participating in programs that will challenge them and give them the skills to make positive choices in their lives.
