PARTI Program Presents MLK Youth Leadership Training at MLK Stop The Violence Event 2019
PARTI Program will prepare 50 youth to become better leaders in their schools and communities at the MLK Youth Leadership Training on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Mayfair Community Center in San Jose.

A new generation of youth leaders will have the opportunity to learn new skills while representing their school campuses and participating as volunteers and leaders. The event emphasizes a commitment of 'Doing For Others' and 'Taking A Stand!'
The MLK Youth Leadership Training targets middle school and high school youth in Northern California. They will explore the Youth Changing the World Toolkit and prepare participants to accomplish a Service Project from ideas to action through the various stages of project development (investigation, preparation, planning, action, reflection, and celebration)
Youth are invited to "Share Your Story" about making a difference in their community.

After the 1-hour training, lunch will be provided and participants are invited to network with civic leaders and business professionals during the MLK Stop The Violence Event VIP Reception. Stay for the youth Fashion and Talent Show!
