LOS ANGELES - Dec. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- 'Lunch Break Feminist Club' is a web series developed to discuss feminist topics in a quirky and ironic way through the eyes of a haphazard and wildly inappropriate feminist club. The web series was screened December 11th at the Hollywood and Vine Film Festival where audiences screened Short Films, Web Series, Documentaries, TV Pilots, Music Videos and sampled Feature Film Scripts.

Natasha Halevi and Rebekah Alexander carry the cast that also includes Olivia Dudek, Annie Bond, and Jessica Lenz.  During an interview, Halevi commented saying, “Winning ‘Best Ensemble’ is a huge compliment because we work really hard to make sure our guests fit seamlessly into the show. We have so much appreciation for the unique contributions from each actress.” Halevi related the win to feminism saying, “As we’ve developed the show, I’ve realized feminism is about more than just equality; it’s also about creating a supportive community of women. Winning for ensemble is like that too - It’s an award for equality in performances and, in our case, it’s created through a group of supportive women!”

Alexander said, "Winning today tells me that we are on the right path and to keep going. Our hard work and love for our craft has begun to climb mountains. We have a story like most where we have had hard times and thought it was over more than once, but this just proves it isn't. I am excited to keep growing and see where this journey takes us."

Halevi added, “We hope this will help catapult ‘Lunch Break Feminist Club’ into a new arena where we can explore more complex stories and also reach a greater audience.”
