PickMe, a home grown taxi-hailing solution chooses 42Gears for its device management needs

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Nov. 23, 2015 - PRLog -- PickMe, currently Sri Lanka’s only taxi aggregator, runs a network that connects taxi operators registered with the company to users who book rides through its app. It is securely managing hundreds of smartphones used by taxi drivers by ensuring drivers access only allowed applications using 42Gears products.

PickMe is the only live taxi hailing app in Sri Lanka that allow passengers to enjoy faster, safer and smarter travelling. It is a GPS and GIS based software that helps passengers hail the closest taxi from anywhere in the island.

Many of its drivers armed with smartphones are not well acquainted with operating them. PickMe wanted to trace the activities of drivers on the smartphone.
