David Consulting Group to Present at Agile Philly’s Agile World Tour Conference
DCG’s Tom Cagley will discuss risk management in an Agile environment.
The Agile Tour is an international effort to educate IT organizations about different software development practices that include Scrum, XP, Kanban, Agile and other methods of building software in a better way.
DCG’s Tom Cagley, Vice President of Consulting, certified Scrum Master and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), will speak. Attendees of “Agile Risk Management” will learn how to use Agile, in combination with other techniques, for a robust risk management system that will facilitate the production of high quality software.
“When Agile is implemented thoroughly – that is, when a team is Agile – then many types of risk are inherently mitigated,” said Mr. Cagley. “However, more often than not, teams do not fully adopt Agile, thereby opening up a door to potential defects and other risk-related issues. It’s imperative that teams take the necessary steps to remedy this in order to reap the benefits that Agile offers and to ultimately produce software that functions as expected.”
The conference will take place in Malvern, Pa. on October 6. More information about DCG’s Agile development solutions and services, including training, is available here (http://www.davidconsultinggroup.com/
