Las Posas Country Club Names David Driscoll As New Director of Membership Sales and Marketing
Highly-Experienced Country Club and Hospitality Business Development Professional Tapped to Spearhead New Membership Acquisition and Retention Strategies
The appointment further expands Las Posas Country Club’s senior management team, and strategically supports its ongoing business development and brand-building initiatives within the regional golf and business communities.
As director of membership sales and marketing, Driscoll manages all of Las Posas Country Club’s member acquisition and retention activities, including lead generation, business development, sales conversion, member communications, and multi-faceted external online and offline marketing campaigns. In addition, he also oversees the club’s branding and positioning efforts, and the implementation of partner marketing programs to attract members from a wider geographic area and increase market penetration. Driscoll reports to Don Meyers, general manager of Las Posas Country Club, with additional reporting responsibilities to president Tom Walling and the club’s board of directors.

The result will be an enhanced Las Posas Country Club that interacts with and communicates to existing and prospective members in a much clearer, sophisticated fashion.”
Before arriving at Las Posas Country Club, Driscoll spent nine years as director of membership sales and club administrator at Somis, Calif.-based Saticoy Country Club. During his tenure there, he spearheaded the creation and rollout of a multi-tiered membership sales and marketing program designed to appeal to and target prospects with different needs; established the club’s social media presence; designed a wealth of new sales and marketing collateral materials; and managed all of the club’s lead generation and sales conversion efforts across multiple channels.
Previously, Driscoll was the operations manager for 15 years at Rayne Corporation, the well-known manufacturer and distributor of water softener and conditioning systems, and front desk manager at the Mandalay Beach Resort in Oxnard. He is a member of the Professional Club Marketing Association, the Camarillo Chamber of Commerce, and The Yacht Club at Channel Islands Harbor.
