SAN GABRIEL, Calif. - March 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Don Bosco Technical Institute (Bosco Tech) will offer five weeks of affordable sports camps for boys and girls in grades 6-8 beginning on Monday, June 22. Each one-week session will focus on a different sport: baseball, football, soccer, tennis and volleyball. Students can sign up for one or several sessions.

“Our camps are perfect for students who are already seriously involved in a sport, those who are interested in improving their skills, and those seeking conditioning during the summer months,” said Bosco Tech Athletic Director Chris Shockley. “We offer extensive immersion in the sport and each camp is taught by our high school coaches. The camps are a great opportunity for middle schoolers to strengthen their game and keep active during the summer break.”

The sports camp schedule begins with football (June 22-26), followed by baseball (June 29-July 3), soccer (July 6-10), tennis (July 13-17) and concludes with volleyball (July 20-24). Each camp costs $125; students can enroll in the entire program for $500. Registration is conveniently available at or by calling (626) 940-2101. Enrollment is limited and the registration deadline is June 5. The sports camps are part of Bosco Tech’s extensive summer program for middle and high school age students.

Celebrating its sixtieth year, Bosco Tech is an all-male Catholic high school that combines a rigorous college-preparatory program with a technology-focused education. The innovative science, engineering, technology and math (STEM) curriculum allows students to exceed university admission requirements while completing extensive integrated coursework in one of several applied science and engineering fields.
