He most recently served as principal at Los Angeles' Academia Avance, where he worked for more than 15 years in various capacities including athletic director, instructional coach and teacher. He holds a master's degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University, a bachelor's degree in political science from UCLA, and earned his physical education teaching credential at Mount Saint Mary's University. "We're very much looking forward to Ricardo joining our administrative team," said Tech President Memo Gutierrez. "His proven commitment to the growth and wellbeing of young people, through both education and athletics, will be a valued asset at Bosco Tech. His role will be especially crucial as we prepare our long-planned transition to a co-ed institution. Ricardo will play a vital part in creating and implementing a constructive, competitive program for female athletes." "I'm excited to join the Bosco Tech community," Gonzalez stated.
