GoReturnMe, the free to use lost and found service is fully operational and they currently have a Kickstarter page https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/goreturnme/goreturnme-cloud-based-reward-driven-lost-and-foun.

In their Kickstarter GoReturnMe is asking for backers to donate any amount to reach their goal of $10,000. For donating backers receive a reward package correlating to the amount. As of 3/10/2014 they are at 10% of their goal, that must be reached by April 4th at 3:30 pm for the funds to be released in the standard Kickstarter fashion.

Frank has an extra phone that he loses on purpose on a regular basis as part of GoReturnMe’s grass-roots outreach. According to Frank he has had it returned every time he has lost it on purpose.

GoReturnMe claims that they’re service gets back your lost item over 80% of the time and it doesn’t cost anything to use. GoReturnMe only makes a percentage of the reward if your lost item is successfully returned to you.
